CRAWL

While attempting to save her father during a category 5 hurricane, a young woman finds herself trapped in a flooding house and must fight for her life against alligators.

A fun yet predictable killer creature flick from the director of High Tension. Plus one for the casting of the beautiful Kaya Scodelario.

The Blu-ray edition comes with a digital code (available in the US only). It feature a 2.39:1 (16x9) 1080p high definition transfer using a MPEG-4 AVC codec. The film looks great with rich black and great color saturation. We get a very good English DTS-HD Master Audio 7.1 track (48kHz, 24-bit) but nothing spectacular especially since sometimes the dialogues are actually left behind in the mix and we barely understand what the actors are saying. There are also Spanish, French, Japanese, Potuguese and Thai Dolby Digital 5.1 audio tracks along with multiples subtitles such as English, English SDH, French, Japanese, Portuguese, Spanish, Cantonese, Hindi, Korean, Malay, Mandarin (Simplified) and Thai.

This edition has two discs. The first one is the Blu-ray disc with the film and bonus bites such as an all new motion comic of alternate opening along with deleted and extended scenes for a total of over 45 minutes of bonus content, impressive! The second disc is a DVD with the film. It comes with a slipcover case.
