PARANORMAL ACTIVITY The Ultimate Chills Collection

For the first time in one complete set, all seven PARANORMAL ACTIVITY movies come together in PARANORMAL ACTIVITY The Ultimate Chills Collection, which includes 9 Blu-ray discs, digital codes for each film and reversible artwork for each title.

- PARANORMAL ACTIVITY
After moving into a suburban home, a couple becomes increasingly disturbed by a nightly demonic presence.
I remember everyone going crazy for this when it first came out but for me it was like watching home videos of a neighbour, which is uninteresting and ultimately boring. The disc includes the Theatrical and Unrated version with alternate ending.

- PARANORMAL ACTIVITY 2
Days after welcoming a newborn baby, Dan and Kristi Rey return home one day to find their house ransacked with seemingly no explanation. Their fear forces them to put in security cameras, which begin to capture strange activity around the house.
This prequel sequel to the original film is more or less the same but with a bigger budget and jump scares that actually works this time. The disc includes the Theatrical and Unrated version.

- PARANORMAL ACTIVITY 3
In 1988, an entity begins to terrorize young sisters Katie and Kristi in this prequel to the series.
This third entry looked nothing like late 80s analog home video, featured one ultra predictable ending but still works to some degree. The disc includes the Theatrical and Unrated version.

- PARANORMAL ACTIVITY 4
It has been five years since the disappearance of Katie and Hunter, and a suburban family witness strange events in their neighborhood when a woman and a mysterious child move in.
A totally unnecessary sequel that doesn't bring anything new and makes little to no sense. The disc includes the Theatrical and Unrated version.

- PARANORMAL ACTIVITY THE MARKED ONES
When a young man becomes the target of a malevolent entity, he must uncover its true intentions before it takes complete control of him.
It took them five films to finally make a good one... and what an ending! The disc includes the Theatrical and Unrated version.

- PARANORMAL ACTIVITY THE GHOST DIMENSION
Using a special camera that can see spirits, a family must protect their daughter from an evil entity with a sinister plan.
Just let Tobi get the annoying kid so this franchise can be put to rest for the better of humanity. The disc includes the Theatrical and Unrated version with alternate ending. There's also the out-of-print 3D Blu-ray included.

- PARANORMAL ACTIVITY NEXT OF KIN
Margot, a documentary filmmaker, heads to a secluded Amish community in the hopes of learning about her long-lost mother and extended family. Following a string of strange occurrences and discoveries, she comes to realize this community may not be what it seems.
Now if only the entire film was as fun as that last act. The disc includes over 20 minutes of deleted scenes and an alternate ending.

The last disc feature a very good documentary, Unknown Dimension The Story of PARANORMAL ACTIVITY. As expected each film have their own aspect ratio (1.78:1, 1.85:1 or 2.39:1) since they were filmed differently. They are presented in 1080p resolution and probably look the best they could at home. As far as the audio goes, each film have a English DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 (48kHz, 24-bit) track but otherwise the tracks available (Spanish, French, Portuguese, German, Japanese or Italian) depends of which film you are watching since the options varies. Same goes for the subtitles but they all include English, English SDH, French and Spanish by default.

Thankfully each disc comes in their own case, which comes in a cardboard box with artwork all around making it the definitive set for fans of the series. Oh, and let's not forget about that exclusive "home security sticker".
