When the Davison family comes under attack during their wedding anniversary getaway, the gang of mysterious killers soon learns that one of the victims harbors a secret talent for fighting back.

A surprisingly effective home invasion "slasher" plagued by a terrible twist but ends with a bang!

Director: Adam Wingard
Running time: 95 minutes
Released: 2013

this was good. I don't remember the twist but it's a bloody throw back to films of the 80s.

Yeah I enjoyed it. But the twist was too predictable.

Corvette Summer

A high school grad (Mark Hamill) and a hooker-in-training try to track down his stolen Corvette.

From saving the galaxy to chasing a corvette... lame.

The Runaways

A coming-of-age biographical film about Joan Jett (Kristen Stewart) and Cherie Currie (Dakota Fanning), two rebellious teenagers from Southern California, become the frontwomen for the Runaways, the now legendary group that paved the way for future generations of female rockers.

Sex, drugs and rock'n roll. Overall a great flick but not entirely true since its based on Currie's own autobiography.

Director: Floria Sigismondi
Running time: 106 minutes
Released: 2010

The greatest sequel ever made. This second episode of the Star Wars saga features action packed sequences, great special effects, new lovable characters and one of the best ending ever.

Ten years after initially meeting, Anakin Skywalker shares a forbidden romance with Padmé, while Obi-Wan investigates an assassination attempt on the Senator and discovers a secret clone army crafted for the Jedi.

After 25 years of waiting to see the Clone Wars, this is all we got. Apart from a few elements, this is a major disappointment.

Revenge of the Sith

Three years into the Clone Wars, the Jedi rescue Palpatine from Count Dooku. As Obi-Wan pursues a new threat, Anakin acts as a double agent between the Jedi Council and Palpatine and is lured into a sinister plan to rule the galaxy.

The best of the original Star Wars prequels... even if that is not saying much.

Director: Richard Marquand
Running time: 140 minutes
Released: 1983

Return of the Jedi

After a daring mission to rescue Han Solo from Jabba the Hutt, the rebels dispatch to Endor to destroy a more powerful Death Star. Meanwhile, Luke struggles to help Vader back from the dark side without falling into the Emperor's trap.

A good conclusion to the original trilogy. And yes, the Ewoks are cool.

Director: Richard Marquand
Running time: 131 minutes
Released: 1983

Night of the Creeps] - A fun spoof of sci-fi and horror movies with a great cast, particularly the beautiful Jill Whitlow and Tom Atkins as a cop.

The Monster Squad - A great monster movie for kids and kids at heart. I still love the priceless line "Wolf Man's got nards!"

Shin Godzilla

Japan is plunged into chaos upon the appearance of a giant monster.

A surprisingly good reboot of the 1954 classic. Updated through today's technologies and ways of life but using the amazing original soundtrack and unleashing cool special effects. The King of the Monsters is back!

Directors: Hideaki Anno, Shinji Higuchi
Running time: 120 minutes
Released: 2016

Re-Animator

A dedicated student at a medical college and his girlfriend become involved in bizarre experiments centering around the re-animation of dead tissue when an odd new student arrives on campus.

Loosely based on an original story by H. P. Lovecraft. This classick is still just as funny and bloody as when it was first released.

Director: Stuart Gordon
Running time: 105 minutes
Released: 1985

The Living Dead at Manchester Morgue

Two unlikely traveling companions come across a small town infested with the "living dead" that are satisfying their cannibalistic hunger on anyone they come across. Discovering that an agricultural machine using radiation waves is at the root of all the havoc, George and Edna fight for survival and their innocence as they are pursued by a relentless detective who is convinced they are responsible for the ghoulish acts of violence plaguing the countryside.

Highly inspired by George A. Romero's Night of the Living Dead, this Spanish-Italian production also known as Let Sleeping Corpses Lie, still delivers the scares and atmosphere that made it a classic.

Director: Jorge Grau
Running time: 93 minutes
Released: 1974

Dark, twisted and featuring the dropdead gorgeous Katherine Isabelle.
