Chris Meloni plays Nick Sax, a strung out ex-cop turned contract killer. After getting severely injured during a hit, his path crosses with Happy, an imaginary blue unicorn who is seeking help to find the kidnapped little girl who created him. From there, things only get crazier...

Yes, the show is as crazy as the premise sounds! This one is equal parts violent, over the top action thriller as well as comedy and some horror as well. Meloni is perfect as psycho ex-cop Sax. He doesn't give a shit about anyone, much less himself and plays/hams up the physically demanding part very well. Patton Oswalt plays the voice of Happy and does a fantastic job. Violence, gore, sex, depravity, language, etc. are all abundant so genre fans should get a real kick out it. The cinematography is quite unique as well and lends the show it's own look and feel. Only 3 episodes in so far and I am hooked!

Outside of FACE OFF (fx show), most of SyFy's original programming simply did nothing for me. With recent shows like the unfortunately cancelled BLOOD DRIVE, CHANNEL ZERO, and now HAPPY!, though, they are really making a mark with me as of late. Check out the trailer below!

Just wrapped up season 1 and all I can say is WOW!! Easily one of the best new shows to come out in a long time. At the end of the last episode it said season 2 is coming so that's a huge plus. Can't wait!

I hope you can find it, I really think you will enjoy it. My brother finally got around to checking it out and called me after binging the first 6 episodes, said it was his favorite new show.
