"Wow!" - this is what I though of when I first took a look at Cinema Sewer for the first time. Robin Bougie's creation is without a doubt the most interesting no holds bared genre mag for fans of horror and porn of the 70s and 80s. This is the zine i've been waiting for. Cinema Sewer is jam packed with great articles and loaded with awesome illustrations. The format is the same as a normal comic book. Even though the writing is like hand draw, it is still easy to read.
Here's a list of some of the stuff covered in this amazing issue; the wild history of porn performer and animal lover Bodil Joensen, a look at bestiality (!) on the internet, 80's teen movie review with anything from A NIGHT IN THE LIFE OF JIMMY REARDO to PRIVATE SCHOOL, a look at the story behind the NOT A LOVE STORY A FILM ABOUT PORNOGRAPHY film, review of GODMONSTER OF THE INDIAN FLATS, the lowdown about Pussy. There's reviews of some porn flicks from the 70s and 80s, an interview with David Hess of LAST HOUSE ON THE LEFT/HOUSE BY THE EDGE OF THE PARK/HITCH-HIKE fame, Hong Kong's category III movie reviews, an evaluation of Eurro Horror, more porn reviews including a "indepth" look at Collen Brennan's filmography, an interview with Tom Noonan and lots more!
Its really simple, if you want to read about anything and everything that you won't find in any order mag, get yourself Cinema Sewer!
