Before I start the review, let me just tell you that if you don't already own this book stop reading this and order it right away. This is an amazing book and a huge task that Nathaniel Thompson (the webmaster of the very good Mondo Digital web site) has handled perfectly!
DVD Delirium is 640 pages of around 1 000 reviews from all around the world! Thompson takes a look at the various NTSC and PAL version(s) available, the picture and audio quality, the special features, language and subtitles. He also gives us a quick review of the film itself. Thompson's writting is clear, easy to understand and not pretencious at all. He's a fan and it shows.

Like all of Fab Press' books this is a very high quality product. The layout is simple, nice and easy to read. Titles are easy to find, it is printed on a quality paper and images are clear and sharp. The height of the book is the same as a DVD so it fits perfectly in your DVD library.
I'm sure that for years and years to come this will be known as the bible for DVD addicts like us. In the meantime, I can't wait for the second volume!
