This is without a doubt one of the best issue of Rue Morgue ever! As always, the graphics and design is superb. Issue 23 features a great interview with Alan Moore where he alks about the From Hell graphic novel and the upcoming film starring Johnny Depp. Emma Anderson talks about another film set to be release this year loosely based on Jack The Ripper, RIPPER LETTERS FROM HELL (one of the worst film i've ever seen!). There is also a superb Cutting Room piece on all of the movies that featured the infamous killer!

The wild and wacky artist known as Voltaire is featured with his latest creation. Andreas Schnaas' DEMONIUM is dissected and observed. Rod Guido takes a look at the 2001 edition of the Fantasia Film Festival with quick reviews of JEEPERS CREEPERS, CITIZEN TOXIE THE TOXIC AVENGER 4, WENDIGO, ANGEL NEGRO, $LA$HER$ and Montreal's own Izabel Grondin's TERRORE.

As always there is lots of reviews including THE OTHERS, FLESH FREAKS, FAUST LOVE OF THE DAMNED, BLOOD SURF, THE MUTILATION MAN (!!), AMERICAN VAMPIRE starring the very hot Carmen Electra, DRACULA 2000 and more!
